My mom is taking the girls school shopping this morning. It's kind of surreal that school will be starting again so soon. My favorite daytime nurse, Liz and I told Dr. Lovelace this morning (there's strength in numbers) he needs to set an exact date that he will deliver the baby-- in case I don't go first. Liz feels if I have a date to shoot for-- it will make things easier for me mentally. Dr. Lovelace said to keep going as long as I can to save the baby from more time in NICU. I agree, but I still want an exact date. So stay tuned... I know he won't let me go past 35 weeks of pregnancy (and that's less than 2 weeks).
The 12 and 13 year old girls I was over in my church all came up to visit me last night. Including leaders, there were about a dozen of them. It made me miss these darling, fun girls. They are so funny (and if I could just harness their energy)!

We had book club last night, "The Hundred Dresses". If you havn't read that book you might like it. It is a children's book but it has a great message for anybody. I started reading it to Leo and he was enjoying it. We were all thinking of times when we were good at standing up for our friends time when we were not.
Anyway, I agree with Camille, that you are truly blessed with lots of friends and family. I hope that you don't feel alone; you have all of us to cheer you on.
Thanks for being a good friend to me over the years and being a good example.
Don't mind me. I've been feeling sentimental lately.
Have a great day.
Lonnie,
I found your blog by way of facebook. From the info I received at the reunion in Lake Powell, I failed to grasp the seriousness of your situation and had absolutely no idea you were still in the hospital! I read every single post yesterday from the day it all started and I have to say that you are one amazing woman! I think you might be the strongest woman I've ever met. While reading, I laughed, I cried--it was better than Cats. You are an incredible mother in every sense of the word.
I told Lance all about your extended hospital stay and about Spartacus and (don't tell him I told you this), he started to cry. He said to tell you that we are thinking of you and your family and wishing you all the very best.
On another note, Holland and Greer were so adorable while we were in Lake Powell on our "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" vacation. Not once did I ever see Greer when she wasn't smiling. And Holland always looked like she was ready to go on the next great adventure. They seemed very happy and I'm glad they were able to go. I'm sure they had no idea who I was and were wondering how I knew their names and why I wouldn't stop talking to them.
Finally, a shout out to Byron, your mom, your cute neighbor and all of your family members and friends who have worked together to give Spartacus (yes, I know that won't be his name, but I love it!) such a great opportunity to join his wonderful family. Like hundreds of others, we are totally rooting for you!
So the waiting part is closing in on the final days and week.
How's the NAMING part going? You don't want to have that baby and still be referring to him as Spartacus, do you?
Er, not that I would mind. I sorta like the idea. Harkens back to your Hollywood Days.
Lonni,
You have so many of your friends praying... for YOU... and that precious little boy inside you. A mother's love and faith can work miracles... so think of each ticking second as a blessing you can give him... no matter how boring it is, how restless and impatient you feel, how frustrating this situation. God's timing is always perfect.
Love and kisses... Lin Sue
I'd also want a delivery date. Then you can start the countdown. So glad your mom is there to help out.
I posted a few pictures on my blog from my walk back to the hotel in Boise. I thought about posting your cute belly picture. :)
I really am NOT a domestic diva... I just burnt a roll in the microwave. Who does that? :)
Hope you have a great Friday!
Greetings from our play group in the scorching heat of Arizona. Of course were hiding inside. Just thinking about you and missing you. We hope your surviving another Friday in St. Luke's.
Looking forward to your next post. All of your Arizona friends are done reading the Twilight Series so we've been glued to your blog in search of bedtime entertainment. :)
Love ya,
Sherri, Anita & Camille...& the kids!
