Music Therapy

Oh what a day and what a night in here.
The fun never stops.
Kean kept the two of us up with a new worry-- he has what is called Stryder.  Not sure
on the spelling.  But basically, he sounds like a seal barking when he breathes.
In other words, he sounds horrible.
Doctor Hansen ordered an X-ray which they came right to his room to do
and a nose swab-- where two nurse simultaneously stuck a bent swab up each of his
nostrils for 30 seconds.  Let's just say Kean was spitting fire by they time they were done.
He did have some happy moments-- like when one of the music therapists came
and serenaded him for a good 45 minutes.
The other highlight was a visit from the Trey McIntyre Project-- an internationally
known modern dance troupe.

They were extremely expressive and behind his mask, Kean seemed to be smiling.
He grumbled loudly when they turned the music off... but they were so darn cute
with him.
Watching them expend so much energy clearly wore the little guy out.
We didn't even make it three laps around the nurses station before he zonked.
My mom is here and I'm headed home to decorate the Christmas tree
with Byron and the girls.  Thanks to our neighbor Johanna for letting us borrow
her fake tree.  My other friend, Melanie Clark is coming up later to spend the night
so I can stay home and finally get a good night sleep.
Yee haw!
