I think this waiting game to see if and when Kean's counts will get high enough
is taking its toll.
Boy Wonder didn't think life was so wonderful today.
He hasn't quite been his happy self.
You'd think he'd be thrilled since his sisters didn't have school today.
We watched our neighbor Jaymie-- and our other neighbor, Trent came
over and gave the girls a "leaf raking and pizza party".
He is leaving to go on a church mission on Monday...
so the girls gave him a missionary medallion and made him farewell cards.
The leaf raking part of the "party" was frankly impressive.
Between Holland and Greer holding their bunnies... I'm quite confident I can
guess who shouldered most of the raking work...
And it wasn't this little guy...
Trent, with probably limited help from the girls
raked up some pretty massive piles they shaped into giant donuts.
I don't know how long the rabbits stayed in the middles...
but long enough for Byron to run back to the house and get the camera.
We love fall around here and we will certainly miss Trent.
He's sure been a great friend to the girls. They adore him.
Colorado Springs is getting a great guy.
