Chemo Eve

One of those pesky leprechauns visited our home for St. Patty's day...
leaving a bit of a mess in the kitchen and turning our milk green.
But failing to leave us chocolate coins like in years past.
We decided to make up for his lapse by whipping up some
green crepes for breakfast-- filled with (chocolate) Nutella, berries and whipped cream.
Yum.
We had such a laugh yesterday, one I want to remember but forgot to post.
We were at a going away party for a friend of ours, Tim Clark.
Greer was standing by his grandmother and playing with my phone.
Kean is the background picture on my phone and this cute little grandma
asked Greer who the little boy was.
She told him it was her baby brother.
Greer then pulled up another picture of Kean-- this one without hair.
The grandma said... "oh, his hair is so blond it doesn't even show up in the picture".
We all busted out laughing when Greer abruptly announced "he's bald"!
We're still laughing about that a day later.
I'm just glad we can all laugh, eh?
Kean has been quite ornery today.
Tomorrow is another big day.
A Spinal Tap is on the schedule if his counts are good enough.
Ug.
Chemo in his brain and spine.
And a long morning of fasting.
Not my favorite way to start off a new week.
But the more of this we get behind us, the closer we are to being done.
It's all about perspective.
