The Hunting Grounds

We are still up to our ears in sorting through toys, clothes and
various other sundry items my hoarder children have collected.
But they did escape the slave labor camp for a few hours
this afternoon with Rachel Alderman (home from college student of the year)!
She took them to a big pond where she taught
them the finer art of catching polliwogs.
Each of the girls caught one-- and thankfully
the ones they caught also escaped!!!
They also assure me there was no kissing
of the future frogs in the hopes of finding a future prince.
Rachel topped their outing off with ice cream.
We told her she wins best (wished for) big sister status.

Howdy

In that Kean is about to complete his 9th month here on earth, I thought I'd better get a few pictures of him looking like a little boy.

Tomorrow is the last day of school for the girls. Our lives are about to do some serious changing. Or at least our routines.
Byron took the girls fishing on Saturday at a local pond. There wasn't much catching going on... but they sure had fun. Can't wait for Kean to be Byron's fishing buddy.
