When I dropped Kean off for his therapy school
I was a bit skeptical as to how well he'd do today.
He's just coming off those pesky Steroids and
he's pretty plugged up in the plumbing department--
so I'm thinking he'll be a terror.
Wrongola.
He was a superstar.
The Speech Therapist said he was using his words
and using them appropriately.
Guess I shouldn't be too surprised.
Yesterday, when I asked him if he wanted a pancake or
eggs and cheese for breakfast-- he told me he wanted a waffle.
He was as proud as punch when I got him what he wanted.
For a four and a half year old, that may not sound to impressive
but trust me, we've worked awfully hard to get here.
Speaking of impressive, Holland was spotlighted
at the middle school assembly.
She was awarded the 7th Grade Community Award.
Guess someone else noticed how compassionate, caring
and kind she is to everyone.
(Well, almost everyone. If we can just get that kindness
to rub off on how she treats her sisters).
Way to go Hottie.
(That's what Kean calls her and we LOVE it).
