His Release

Another challenging day for the Keanut man.
He woke up at 5:30 (yep, on a Saturday morning) and was mopey and uncomfortable.
He whined and whimpered most of the day,
took a short nap (and gave mom a short break)
then woke up to more of the same.
I can't quite figure out what is going on with him.
This is one of those times I really wish he could talk!
The only two things I can think of-- is he's back on those miserable steroids
which make him angry and full of angst.
And the Chemo he got through his port on Wednesday almost always gives him
jaw pain.  And boy, has he been hanging on that jaw and biting his thumbs.
Finally, after dinner, we bundled him up and Byron took him for rides around the yard.
I think they must've circled twenty times.
And guess what?  It worked.
Our boy was much, much happier for the evening.
Our little magic bullet has me concerned.  Winter is definitely creeping in
which means the ol' motorcycle will have to be garaged for a while.
Any ideas?
I will probably be quite desperate here in a few weeks.
